• Mental Health Therapist

Kate joined The Center with hopes of being able to partner with individuals looking for support, motivation, encouragement, and validation while handling the inevitable ups and downs of life. Kate uses a strengths-based and person-centered approach while working with clients to achieve their goals and is passionate about helping people understand and be proud of who they are.

With over 20 years of experience in the field of social work, Kate has worked to understand, advocate for, and support the complex needs of children and families working within the child welfare system. This work has allowed Kate to gain invaluable insights into navigating traumatic experiences, grief, loss, and resilience.

Kate has experience supporting clients impacted by substance use disorders, mental health and medical diagnoses, and traumatic life events. She has special interests in advocating for and supporting healthy relationships – even if/when relationships are ending, as well as supporting caregivers of persons with disabilities.
